PETITION of Margaret Williams of Fronhead, Festiniog, co. Merioneth, widow in the Court of Chancery re her claim that a sum of £520 was her own money (after bequest by her aunt Ann Owen), and not part of her husband (William William)’s Estate, because she received it prior to the passing of the Married Wowmen’s Property Act 1870, therefore not to pass to the executors of her husband’s estate (including William Watkin) on her husband’s death in 1876.
